LIGHTING

Lighting is the seventh piece in the Street Tigers series, continuing its ongoing themes. It was made independently for an art competition on a short deadline.

The piece draws on classic heavy metal album artwork, with touches of cyberpunk and retro-futuristic anime style. Two giant figures, one tiger-striped, one human, tower over the city, tied to a sense of speed and power. Lightning cuts through the sky above a falling, wingless figure, while Nissan GT-Rs and a street-level crowd keep the scene grounded at ground level.

The goal was a hardened, aggressive tone with a mythic edge, built on a more modern, urban backdrop.
