My name is Oliver Raven, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with a background in photography. In my spare time, I started getting into illustration and graphic design, which eventually grew into a project called STREET TIGERS.
I began it during COVID-19, as a way to channel my fascination with street racing, Japanese car culture, and automotive posters. It's since become something more, a way to show a different, more personal side of my creativity to the world.
The tiger runs through everything I make, and it's more than just a striking image. It's powerful, watchful, and always in motion, but it's just as much about vulnerability as strength, a reminder that even the most dominant things can become targets. That tension is what keeps pulling me back to it, and it's where the name Street Tigers comes from.
Every piece starts the same way: a fully hand-drawn illustration, built from real reference photos of the cars, bikes and streets that define Japanese car culture. Only once that artwork exists does it become anything else, a sticker, a keychain, a screen-printed shirt or hoodie. I've learned that process myself,so what starts as a drawing ends up as something you can actually wear.
Street Tigers is still growing. Every new piece pushes the last one further, and the story isn't finished.
You can see the full series, and where it's headed next, in the shop.
